Why we started Red Cannon.
Many recruitment agencies are built around volume: more vacancies, more CVs and more placements.
Red Cannon was created to take a more personal and practical approach.
We work with growing businesses to understand what they actually need and help identify the best route to bringing the right person into the organisation.
Sometimes that means traditional permanent recruitment. Sometimes it means creating a new role. Sometimes an internship, apprenticeship, funded employment programme or training pathway may make more sense.
The objective is always the same: help businesses build stronger teams.
Meet Will Barker
Red Cannon was founded by Will Barker.
Will has worked in recruitment since 2020 and works directly with Red Cannon clients throughout the hiring process.
That can include understanding the requirement, finding candidates, managing interviews, discussing workforce plans and exploring funded employment or apprenticeship opportunities.
Being founder-led means clients know exactly who is responsible for delivering the work.
